I haven't posted in forever....
I am sitting at work with one hour to go on the 11-7am shift and trying not to fall asleep. If only it was a real meteorology job, but alas I am once again working at the front desk of a hotel. Thankfully most of the time I work the 7-3 or 3-11 shift, but I am currently being trained on night audit as a back-up for two others. I can't complain ( Read more... ) -

things to stress one out...
1) I am fighting to keep 3 teachers involved in my research so that I don't lose 300+ students (ie data). Without said students I can still finish my Masters thesis, but it will be a lot harder and yield no actual results ( Read more... ) -
possible job
I don't want to jinx anything or say anything, but a possible job could come about that would be very favorable to my future. Please pray :-) -

I'm in DC for the weekend for the NSF GK-12 Conference (where my graduate funding comes from). Cats & plastic bags
So I've just recently noticed that Shadow is eating/biting/licking plastic bags and anything else plastic (laundry baskets mainly). Does anyone else have this problem? Do I need to be calling the vet about this...buy some nutritional supplement...etc? I know there are several cat people out there that read this so I'm hoping one of you have ( Read more... ) -

Here Kitty Kitty!
I'm getting a kitty! It's my very own kitty and the first indoor cat I've ever been responsible for (my roommate at Valpo had one and she took care of everything).
