Potential Roomish Thingy

So it looks like I might've gotten a place to stay. Jamie, whom I've known for, like, ten years, is going to have a space available very shortly at her house. Cheap, no leasey commitment thingy, intarweb already installed, and it's in Ft. Walton. (on the west end of Hollywood, near the intersection of Hollywood and Mary Esther Blvd). Funny how ( Read more... )

In Mary Esther Manor, or closer to Bryn Marr? If you could get a job in the industrial park, that would be cool, although I don't think my dad needs any electronics assemblers right now at TSL.

And 285 does suck at night.

Closer to Bryn Marr. Like, if you drive past the house, you can practically use Bryn Marr to turn around (if it wasn't so damn narrow). Yeah, I wouldn't mind doing something besides cell phones, so if you hear of anything, I would be greatly appreciative if'n you'd let me know.

Cell phones are a decent racket right now, though.

The worst: 285 at night in fog with deer. My roommate and I, the one time we both drove up to FWB, saw somewhere around 50 deer in a 5 minute period. Several did dart across the road.

I did ~20 mph the whole freaking road and the guys behind me didn't mind. (a miracle in itself)

I hear you on the drive from Tally to FWB (or N'ville in my case). All of the roads blow. I usually take 331 but have taken the others on occasion. You're right. The deer are everywhere. All creppy glowy eyes and twitchy dispositions.

The other thing I hate is getting stuck behind some dude going 20 miles under the speed limit. Makes that last leg of my 4.5 hour drive from G'ville draaaaaaaag on forever.

See, on most of the roads you can pass the dumbass. Not 85, though, which is why I usually take 285.
