I have been ill and off work today, mooching around the flat on our last day in it, and feeling bored. I really hope I'm feeling better tomorrow, because moving house in my current state is going to be a horrendous task.

And I saw Vicky Christina the other day as well. We're so in sync. I liked it a lot, but it seemed more superficial than it thought it was. I think maybe the narration created a distance. It was good though...

It's weird, I normally hate narration in films, but in VCB I thought it worked really well, since the whole thing was just an undisguised set-up for looking at different outlooks on love....I don't know, it just seemed very different from anything I've seen for ages, which was a good thing, and I always like films about the creative process. Doh and Scarlett Johannson snogging Penelope Cruz, obviously. The ending was sad though, I hate leaving a film on a downer.
