Have you ever seen the movie about Valerie Solanas, I Shot Andy Warhole, with Lili Taylor? I think you'd like it … and Girodias appears in it as a minor character.

You've intrigued me about this book, too - I just ordered myself a cheap used copy.

I really hope you like it. I think cheap used copies are all you can get - it seems to be out of print :(
