The coverage of what the press like to call the "race for the White House" - as if the candidates set off from Iowa and are literally sprinting towards Washington (now that would be a neat way to settle it) - is quite amazing to me considering the election isn't till when? -November is it?  That's nearly a year away, yet it's still all over the ( Read more... )

i wish you could vote. i hate how drawn out it all is, too. and i wonder, if we just let them all run instead of shaving the pool down to one "legitimate" candidate in each party, who would win? is there more division in the republican or democratic party?

Yeah that would be really interesting, although I guess whoever eventually won probably wouldn't have much support. Though probably still more support than the current prez..

Yeah, the other one I noted down from Against the Day was something called a Ramos gin fizz, which involves egg-white and sounds pretty hideous. I'll drink anything once though!
