I usually think of things, like, say, Zoolander when I think comedy... but despite that, I rather enjoy the more independent obscurely funny films... I saw Dan In Real Life which I found really funny... I have no clue if it qualifies.
I am just rambling now... how was The Secret? (Which I have never even heard of...)

See that is what I think as well for comedy. I saw part of Dan in Real Life. My mom didn't like it so we didn't finish it.
I think part of my problem is I watch a lot of movies right before I go to sleep so my concentration isn't like it should be if it was ya know in the day or evening, so I miss a few things sometimes. LOL
Hope you get to feeling better lovely! I read in your post you weren't feeling good! *hugs*

Yeah, I cannot handle things which require thinking when I am about to go to sleep. That is when Zoolander and such is the perfect thing to watch. Or something I have already seen... or something not so long, like a tv show.
I adore Joost. It's free and they have all sorts of random tv shows on it- like Twin Peaks which David Duchovny played Denise/Denis the FBI agent on. He made an oddly attractive woman on it... it is a bit creepy.
Joost also has random stuff, like, Married With Children and stuff on it. It is fun. I have no clue why I have been so sucked into Love Boat since I hardly even remember it when I was super small. It is almost like watching a train wreak. I just can't pull my eyes away....

I actually checked my TV after I read that comment today! And I thought, "I don't remember such a channel!" LOL
I will be checking that out then!
That is why I usually watch Golden Girls before I go to bed. Nice little 22 minutes of funny before I go to sleep. Luckily what I watch doesn't spill over into my dreams, because if I start having dreams about old women, or men for that matter, I might have to stop watching Golden Girls!! LOL
