There's an article on Yahoo! today stating that American Individualism hinders our ability to understand others whereas Chinese Collectivism aids in communication

The only way you could really say that the experiment took American individualism into consideration would be if the director said, "Move the block." and the American participant said, "Fuck you, you move the block!"

Classic. :)

I forwarded that article around my office. We don't believe it either.
