The Stingers are great. I rewatched Jem a few years ago before going to Jemcon and had no recollection whatsoever of the Stingers. Course, after watching I was so sad that they never made dolls of The Stingers! Darn Hasbro (?) discontinuing the toy line and canceling the show.
Hasbro never made toys of them???? Really? That's ridiculous! Isn't that the *entire* point of the show?
I'd love to know what Jemcon was like. We were discussing what a convention dedicated to Jem would contain, and we weren't really sure. Tell me there was cosplaying, at least.
I attended Jemcon 2007, the 3rd con. I think attendance was 100 people? I was actually really disappointed in this con, but my disappointments came from the management of the convention. The winning bidders had never run a con before and were so unorganized. I could have taken over for the two days and done better. Anyways, on to what we did
