Okay, so first and foremost over at whedonland we have our "End of Apocalypse" gift-giving thread going on, and I wrote a quick 100-word drabble for someone there that I kinda liked so I thought I'd share. :D Here's that:

i agree with this whole post *nod* but what i agree with most is:

Also, Gretchen's behaviour is reminding me a lot of West in the fact that he and she kind of pushed her into admitting she was different.. D: It was a little odd. I really, really hope she doesn't turn out like him. She could be a really, really great character but the writers (and the actor/director) have to do it right otherwise it will just come off wrong.
I do like Gretchen, I just hope they get her character right and don't botch it up. She has some great potential

this is sooooooooooooooooooo true.

I knooow. I really like Gretchen, but she kind of made me go "ehhh" in this episode. :/

And the ironic part? If they hadn't of had West in S2 I probably wouldn't even be having this "ehh" feeling. XD

Last episodes was kind of just testing the waters, and I liked it but it didn't... hold my attention very well

Yeah, that was how I felt about the last episode too. But this one was awesome! I really enjoyed all the storylines and interactions, and I pretty much agree with everything you've said. And I can't wait until my Heroes OTP is reunited next week! :D

I do wish they'd explain the ink thing though.

And really well done drabble! :D

Yes! I can't wait for that either, I just found out about the inevitable reunion last night. :D I'm so excited!

And I think part of the reason the last one dragged was because it was two straight hours. In the way some things are better as a 30-minute sitcom, some things should just be left to an hour. XD Unless it's paced really, really well, which... I don't think the first episode of the season was paced as well as it could've been. -nod-
