Am I justified in being rubbed the wrong way by this comic series? What's really upsetting to me is that the artist is a former Disney animator. :/

Reminds me of my ex-husband, when we were finally getting the divorce, a few years after I moved out. He was sure I was being unreasonable in the negociations because I was entering menopause. I told him, "Don't you remember? That was over and done before I ever even moved out. Have you ever thought that maybe I pissed at you, not because somethings wrong with me, but because you're being an asshole?"

("No, you can not have the house that is paid for, all 25 of your guns, all of the garage full of power tools, 4 of our 5 paid for cars, 75% of the rest of our stuff, half of our cash, AND half of the inheritance I expect to get someday. I'm willing to pay to get rid of you, but not that much.")

Wow, that's messed up. How dare she be stern when discplining her children!

Menopause jokes, just like period/PMS jokes, will never be funny to me.

Yeah nah.

That comic strip is made entirely of a boring, tired, offensive trope, shows no imagination and isn't really even funny. Fail.
