An adult walrus can outweigh an adult polar bear by about 2,000 pounds. Beeg daddy elephant seals can outweigh them by about 4,000.

That reminds me of this: hungry polar bear takes on a walrus herd and loses (from BBC's Planet Earth). Very sad.

My God, that walrus is big. It's one thing to know it intellectually, but to see it is something else altogether.
