The energy efficient chicken

Dec 05, 2007 20:02

The idea behind the development of this naked bird is that it will create a more ‘convenient’ and energy efficient chicken which can live in warm countries where feathered chickens don’t do well and cooling systems are too expensive to be commonly affordable. Not growing feathers saves energy that can be used to grow meat.

Are you referring to the sensation one would get from touching them, or a lack of proper chickeny self-esteem on their part?

You know the point of feathers is to protect them... This better not be serious.

humans are disgusting, so i wouldn't doubt it was true. who cares about the chickens, right? - they will only be tortured and slaughtered anyways. i mean, they probably go through less pain in life having no feathers because then they aren't put in a pot of boiling water to de-feather them.

i am in no way pro-featherless birds or pro-meat industry.
this is pretty fucked up. i hate people a lot.

o.O Last time I checked they were death when they were put in the boiling water. ;;

I dunno, I just don't like it when people fuck with nature to get these strange creatures.

That's so sad. Birdies love spending time grooming themselves. D:

I know. I wonder if they've genetically altered them to completely STOP grooming themselves.
