Found this article thru Daily Kos, but it has naught to do with politics.

Instead, it's about chitons, an ocean species whose eyes are formed from limestone.

Chitons are so fucking weird. One of the lecturers at my uni was doing loads of studies into the metal they synthesise to make their tongue rasps.

So it sees with rocks and eats with metal teeth. Wacky.
