My dad actually sent me both links in an email and said that there is going to be a volcano erupting or an earthquake or something, and those 2 things were proof.

I was just focusing on one part. And, I am sure they are able to tell the difference if it's from before or after hitting the ground.

As would flying into a hailstorm, which given the weather recently, doesn't seem unlikely.

Also, the fish die-off is over a hundred miles away from the bird deaths, and appears to be from some sort of disease. But such is the nature of the overactive human pattern recognition facility, that these incidents will be connected in UFO, conspiracy and Fortean literature forevermore.
