looks like there's something weird with his wrists and ankles, too. i wonder how well his feet and hands will work.

They'll probably use casts to try and set the wrists/ankles into a more normal position as the kid grows. Or surgery if that fails.

I blame the media. Maybe. They're always printing vague statements like that, even when it's not what the source said.
