Billions of jellyfish wipe out Northern Ireland's only salmon farm
DUBLIN, Ireland (AP) -- More than 100,000 fish are dead following a spectacular jellyfish attack at a Northern Ireland salmon farm.
The farm's owners say billions of jellyfish were in a dense pack that spanned 10 square miles when they overwhelmed the fish last week.

Always a sneak attack. They never announce it.
Though it is usually incidental, and quite painful, when a person gets tangled up in one.

I heard that those hurt pretty bad.
I had a run-in with a box jelly at Tybee Island, Ga. several years back.
I liken it to being attacked with a hot curling iron. Not that I have ever been attacked with a hot curling iron, that is just what I imagine to be a comparison.
Fortunately it wasn't a sea wasp.
