When I worked at a grocery store a few years ago, an injured deer walked into our store, collapsed in the deli department and lay there bleeding all over the floor. After the animal control folks came and took it away the bakery manager, who had a really wicked sense of humor, got on the PA system and announced there was a special on venison today.
