Procoptodon goliah was the largest macropod to ever live. It's a member of Sthenurinae, a subfamily of kangaroos with only one living member, the banded hare-wallaby. The Giant Short-Faced Kangaroo this is proof why a puerile mind and zoology shouldn't go together. If I was naming this animal I'd have called it The Cock Foot Kangaroo.
