This makes me wonder about the possibility of there being some pretty lethal fungus or bacteria hidden away in the earth's melting permafrost/glaciers. Something that could affect humans. THE FEARRRR

Actually there is already one. Main reason i know about it is because I know someone who died of it

Stupid fungus-carrying bats making me blind. (Ocular Histoplasmosis.

It seems like it's bad news for bats all around - new fungus, wind turbines apparently making their lungs explode...

Goodness, National Geographic is a bit behind times if that's the first they published that. That's been going on for a few months now (I live in Vermont where we've been um, obsessing a bit).
