Never thought I'd have something to post here, but it figures it came from PetSmart.

Last week, I bought crickets, and as I was tossing them in my lizard's cage, I noticed one had another, dead cricket stuck to him. I tried to shake them loose, but no go. On closer inspection, it turns out there was only one cricket, with a giant growth coming out ( Read more... )

It may be possible to dry it out in a tin of Borax (cleaning powder). You may want to ask furhideandbone.

you know when you go to the gift section of some stores and they'll have weird, but normal, bugs preserved in some kind of resin-looking glass? maybe research how to do that! that way you can buff it down real close and smooth to him so people can handle the orb and study his unique leg. :)
