Oh wow that is so neat! I didn't know that. And to think, something so interesting from a seemingly ordinary house pet :)

And agree with everyone else who wants to shave weird patterns into the cat XD I bet companies would pay big money for product placement :)

Very cool.. I'll have to forward this to my mom. we had a siamese cat and we lived in the Philippines, and she was pretty white until we moved to Korea, and experienced really cold winters. She darkened, and then when we moved to Texas, and she was exposed to the cold winter again, she darkened even more.

As someone who lived in the hot part of Texas for waaaay too long, this makes me laugh. Where'd you live?

The product-placement could be epic. Hey, if people wrap cars and sell baby-naming rights, surely someone will pay me to put a Nike swoosh on my cat and parade it around in public...

Haha just in Dallas/North Texas. I guess to some who had been living in the US a while it's not that cold, but coming from 90-100 degree weather and thrust into the artic.. well. :))

I live in Chicago. When you said Texas and cold winter,I spat tea on my monitor laughing. :(

It's about 87 degrees here today. Gods, I'm dying.

Well that explains a lot actually, as another Siamese owner (albeit one being increasingly overrun by mixed and bitza cats).
