Those wasps are so bossy! All "here, take these eggs, now let the babies eat you, now take care of these pupa, now fight off predators, now go die with nothing to show for all your hard work!" Rude - and creepy.

Ooh! Thanks for the picture. Someone spoke about this vaguely a few days ago when mentioning the wasp that "controlled" the cockroach. And I meant to look up more information on this particular instance. Thanks! Good post. Great picture.

Yeah, this definitely reminded me of Resident Evil 4. I think at one point a scientist even mentions parasite/host mind control in smaller bugs in relation to the human ones in the game.

Heh, makes me want to go play it again.
