I feel bad for the little guy...also, is he eating a lizard? If he eats some of the crazy spiders I've seen, he is A-OK in my books and I welcome him to move into my backyard.

Yep, it's a gecko. I have no idea how it caught it.

I am just googling him to find out what he eats. Apparently they live all over Australia from the NT down to SA and WA. I kinda like them...now I will have to keep my eyes out for them!

That mole is freakishly adorable. I have a soft spot for critters that have evolved to be efficient. "Eyes? Ears? Don't need those, why bother?"

I love how it's just mowing down on the 'pede. I wonder if they like house centipedes, because then I totally need one.

Unfortunately, the video defeats my (not so bad) computer. Streaming too slowly, can't pause to let it load. I got some ambient wind and insect noises, and a couple flashes of wiggly little golden mole patootie.
