But in the age of camera phones, etc., why did no one catch this on video?!?

I know, it's disappointing there's no video :( But I guess they weren't really planning on recording anything. They were just trying to get the whales back out to sea, and if they couldn't do that they were going to have to shoot them and I don't know why they'd want to record that anyway.
