I rode one of these guys on a beach when I was very little. Charming fellow, my camel. If you told him to get up, he would lie down, and if you told him to lie down, he would get up.

they had a small camel at the chattanooga zoo when the hubby and i went there for vacation this past year. i wanted to pet him (he was in the petting part) but they had him roped off. i felt so bad for him. he looked miserable.

i would love to ride one one day. they look so snuggly

See, when you say "roommate" I picture you two to share an apartment, but where does the camel sleep? On the couch? I can imagine it's a real ass about the tv remote.

Camels are really interesting. That's one of the reason my boss works with them - because most of them are NOT trained very nicely like this camel is!

We rent a house that's on 16 acres. :)
