There's another article on there about gorrillas now using weapons to ward off intruders which has never been seen before. They're throwing rocks and things to keep humans or whoever away. Pretty cool stuff
Remember the story about the apes that ate psychadelic plants specifically to trip? I'm not sure where I saw it and I'm too lazy to look it up, but there's a theory that it lead to human consciousness and self-awareness.
I know, right. Have you ever seen them go to war? They get all sneaky like and walk quietly into the other troop's territory and then ambush and bludgeon to death anyone they encounter for no reason at all! The scientists thing it some sort of violent urge they get or something because they can find no cause for the behavior.
