Sure, everyone's gone "WTF" over the platypus, but what about its even weirder cousin the echidna (also known more descriptively as the spiny anteater)? I was thinking, That's not so exciting... :D

Does it have thumbs on its back paws too? I've wondered if more than one thumb per hand would make life easier, but you'd need corresponding brain parts to keep track of all that grasping and pretty soon it adds up to evolutionary expense.
