the way people react to fail posts (with macros and commentary) is encouraging some to make failposts for the sake of lulz.

what do we do now?

We can either

a) Sit around a board room table talking about what must be done with these intolerable newbies posting fail all the time as our cigar smoke fills the air with a heavy fog giving the impression of some sinister underhanded plotting is going on.

b) Continue with the macros and commentary and hope the novelty wears out

c) Panic

d) Make out

e) Talk about our feelings while looking up at the moon

f) Spoon

g) Vomit

h) ???

i) Profit

I say do nothing. This type of stuff falls into the law of unintended consequences. Probably the best thing to do is ignore them and dont comment.

There was a post a while back about a sheik in dubai where this seemed to be the consensus of the comm, I think they got one reply.

i think the comments should be limited to 'fail', 'old', and 'repost'. Thats it. No lulz, but the point is made.
