I almost scrolled past this one, but the headline caught my eye:

Half of preschool girls worry about fat.

That's just... sad. Very very sad. Nobody that young should be concerned that much with their physical appearance. :-(

I definitely didn't think that way when I was that age. I was concerned with coloring, playing outside and getting home in time for Tiny Toons and Sesame Street, not my appearance.

I didn't start worrying about my weight until like 2nd grade, and then only because I was being bullied for being overweight (at least, that was the excuse. I suspect my androgyny made the other boys uncomfortable).

Heh... I was definitely worried abou my weight as young as five, since I was bullied in kindergarten for being overweight.
