From the BBC: An 8 year old Liberian girl got raped. Her family in the US disowned her for this. Because "OMG guys, she was totally asking for it! You should have seen how she was dressed: her ankles were showing!"

What bothers me is that people in other communities are saying that the boys should be punished and all the hate is directed towards them. Maybe the older boys, but the nine and ten year olds? They need help as well as the poor girl.

Yeah there's totally something puggled in that community if that's how kids are behaving. Apparently the authorities have been deluged with offers of help. I think the parents also need re-educating that in a Western, liberal country they can not behave like that and get away with it.
