I have studied the list thoroughly, and the directive just says that we need to bring back "a pot of gold". It does not specify that it has to be real gold, nor does it say "a pot full of gold".
I suggest we Charm an ordinary cooking pot into a gold colour, hence it will be "a pot of gold".
