We're still here! We miss you guys. It's nobody's fault we don't have more time for each other, tho we will try harder!

I entirely understand about your father. Mine is institutionalized because of it. He has had. no idea who I am the few times I have visited. It's easier for me because befored he was formally diagnosed, his behavior was easy to dismiss as "that's just dad being an asshole". When he got diagnosed he had already alienated me enough that not only could I not determine the "border" between being an ass and dementia, there wasn't much motivation to try.

On a lighter note, this is our INSANE time. Between now and mid January we're crazy busy but will figure out how to get down to quincy.
