some questions she answered for her fansite:
What is the highest note you can sing?
High F
no honey...you couldn't hit the high E in phantom, therefore you can't hit the high F
If you were going to be in an opera, what would your dream role be?
I would be most excited to play Musetta in Carmen. I have loved the

it's one thing to say "so-and-so is my favorite character" but if you read the full answer, she goes ON and ON about the scene...in "Carmen". I have a feeling my facepalm icon is going to be getting a lot of use today

Even I could have told you that Musetta was a character in Puccini's La Boheme.
She could have played it safe and said the Habanera. But no, she just had to sound like she knew more pieces than she did of Bizet's Carmen, and she's wrong!!
Perhaps, now that time has gone by, she can hit a high F (with a lot of vocal practice and training). However, if she can hit it now, she should have at least been working on the E for the movie, a half step lower (idiot!).

that mess would have needed a lot of training between then and now if she's able to hit the high F she claims she can hit

Also, I pretty much want to slap her for that Musetta comment.

I think the worst singing screentest award ever goes to Rosario Dawson.

hers was pretty awful, but to give her some cred she was jumping around and seemed like she was having fun :)

I cannot stand her...there are just no words for how much. *cries* Why ALW? WHY?! She ruined Phantom for me. *sporks her* I've never understood why they cast her, anyway, when they had to change the key half of her notes were written in just so she could hit them (and not well, at that).
I love that we all know Musetta is a character in La Boheme . Any RENT fan with their salt could tell you that.

I just got 3 emails from girls who saw my comment saying "WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE'S NOT A SOPRANO?? SHE'S SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AMAZING! YOU'RE JUST JEALOUS!"
why do they all sound like they're 12 years old? and can they please use a dictionary to find another word other than jealous to describe anti-emmy fans? I seriously think that's the only word they know *sigh*
The day I find an Emmy fan who can hold her own in a proper debate, pigs will fly

Possibly because they all ARE 12 years old. Either that or they only have the maturity of a twelve year old, and their other role models are Jessica Simpson and Lindsay Lohan, who can't sing, either, but hell, they don't have musical training, so why does TALENT matter?! Oooo, I get so infuriated.
"ZOMG EMMY'S MY HEEEERO AND U R JUST JEALOUS COZ U R NOT HOTT LIKE THAT AND U WANT GERRY TO STROKE UR BODICE AND ZOMG SHE'S THE BEST SINGER EVA!!!one!!!" Kill me now.
The only word they do know is jealous, because they can't come up with a logical debate. And most of them had never heard of Phantom or Andrew Lloyd Webber before the film came out. Besides that, don't ask them who Gaston Leroux is. Their bubbleheads might explode.
The day I find an Emmy fan who can hold her own in a proper debate, pigs will fly Heeee. Too true.

don't get me started on Simpson. The entire world seems to think she can sing, but have you really listened? She's just yelling -_- and Lohan's a joke. please
alright...I have to admit I'm guilty of this :( I'd heard of phantom before the movie (c'mon...who hasn't??), but the movie is what triggered me to go see the stage show (read: stage first, movie second, but the movie raised my curiosity about the show :P) . It had to be fate that my first night in Shanghai on vacation was the night of the World Tour premiere XD
oh Brad, how I love thee *oogles icon*
