Mayhaps but methinks it would take a lot of work to make a usable script without loading it down with copious amount of backstory. The script would have to nix or minimize the whole abduction from Eternia to Etheria by Hordak, the fact that her twin is Adam/He-man.

The Evil Horde could make very cool villains but, I imagine, the whole backstory would have to be changed radically.

Thankfully, it's no longer live action.

What's next? Voltron and He-Man is in production. Maybe Silverwing could be next?

Personally, I'm rooting for She-Ra.

Gargoyles!!!! So very un-Walt Disney... inter-racial dating, strong female characters, genocide, racism*literally* and a funky take on Shakespeare!

Gargoyles would be amazing for the reasons listed above as long as they got someone working on it who was able to take the story seriously despite the fantastic content, it could be really good or really disappointing.

Re. She-Ra: Since He-Man's already in the works, perhaps they could follow it up with a combined She-Ra movie/He-Man sequel? The kind of thing where He-Man's a character but kinda takes a back seat to She-Ra? Sort of the way FF II still focuses on the Four but also brings in the Silver Surfer. Then from there if there's interest they can do more movies with one or both characters.

Never even heard of Voltron or Silverwing. I still hold out hopes for Dino-Riders, damnit! Even though it may have to be a Wrybread Toys production.
