For once some good news about a cancelled TV show comes out of nowhere:  http://www.syfyportal.com/news423577.html

Sweet, hopefully it will have the full cast back.  Now all that has to happen is for X-Files 2 to get off the ground and I'll be set.

That is great news. I loved that show and was so sad to see it disappear. I have great doubts about Mandy Patinkin being in the movie. He sees to be experiencing some serious success as of late. Criminal Minds is doing well, plus there is rumors of other projects in the works. Rube may have to be cast with someone else

Hmm, if Patinkin doesn't come back it would seem easier to just eliminate the character of Rube (say he moved on after Reaping enough souls, would seem easy enough) rather than re-casting. *crosses fingers he'll be willing to come back*
