rain rain rain

it's raining outside and i can see the lightning flash through my closed curtains and i can feel the thunder roar and shake the ground. the computer monitor shakes each time the thunder cracks. i'm next to the window now, looking out in the pitch darkness. i can't see the rain falling, but i feel it and i taste it. i imagine the ripples it creates

I wrote a poem last night about the lightning and the storms while I was lying in my bed, staring out the window. But then I fell asleep and I don't remember it anymmore. *tear*
