How lovely to see a post from you, and to hear about your forthcoming adventure! I'm glad that house-hunting went well, and wish you the happiest of new homes.
Well, I'd missed this on FB somehow. Sounds splendid for me. And hopefully if I ever manage that mooted/threatened/possible Chicago visit at some point, it will mean that coordinating something with you at the same time will be even more possible than anticipated!
1. Good luck for the new adventure! I'm sure your inner sunshiny-ness will help you feel warm even in Michigan.
2. I've said it before - I really miss lj and people actually using it. Facebook is just so much more shallow. Facebook updates are like quick shoutouts from your yard to everyone who walks by, whereas livejournal is/was everything from diary to group therapy to kaffeklatsch :)
