My South is...sipping the nectar from honeysuckles every summer

There's this book I've been eyeing since last fall. Everytime I read a little bit of it, it makes me tear up...in the best of ways. The book is My South and it's been culled together from a Turner South special in which people discuss what makes the South *their* South. We are, like one of my favorite moments in Elizabethtown, where Drew finailly arrives in Etown, steps out of the car, and is suddenly innundated with the comforting and familiar sound of, cicadas in the summer.

There are so many things that are uniquely ours here in the South, and I just wish that other people got the chance to see it, 'cause it is magical, but at the same time, I'm overprotective of it and don't want to share it with just anyone.

Your icon says it all really. Your South is your home and sounds like a wonderful place. Of course, if I ever make it to the US for my 'as many states in three weeks as possible' trip, Tennessee is definately on the list anyway...
