K-Pop Music Fest in Sydney Fan Account!

Nov 13, 2011 03:43

I got back from the K-Pop Music Fest in Sydney, and I made a resolve to make an orderly fan account. It might not be very detailed, please bear with my lousy memory. I've spent the last 2 hours writing it up, hopefully someone will read it and feel like they got an idea of what it was like ( Read more... )

dbsk, snsd, fan account, shinee

Thanks for sharing this! I'm happy for you that you had a great time. I saw one pic of SHINee, presumably after they performed, where Taemin had taken off his vest and rolled his T shirt sleeves up. I'm guessing it's pretty warm down under.

yup, it's getting warmer and warmer here. could see some of the idols sweating as they performed.

I hope you liked the fan account! thanks for commenting!

Winter is coming to Korea right now so I think that's what they meant about the weather.

They did come to Australia in pretty winter-ish clothes.

well, if that's what they meant, then the translator must have translated inaccurately, because that's what she was saying. it must have been uncomfortable to make the transition from one climate to another, though!

thanks for commenting!

glad you enjoyed the concert as well! wasn't the atmosphere great?

it's not that my memory is great, but that I purposely wrote down the performing groups and songs in order as it was happening - it kind of distracted me a little from the performances on occasion, but it was ok overall. I also jotted down some general comments about each performance e.g. Onew's smile is <3 to help me along :)

thanks for commenting! also, if you don't mind my asking, how did you find this?

woah so sorry about the late reply Dx, i don't use lj that much so i don't check it very often.....

i don't really remember how i found this, but i think that i just googled "sydney kpop fest" and clicked on some random sites. one of them had a link to this site saying that this was the most detailed fan account that they had seen

and, because i'm curious... is there any band that you like more after the concert??
because i LOVE mblaq now, they're so funny and cute :D
i liked their song mona lisa but back then i had no clue who they were

well, I think I've increased my interest in B2ST and Miss A slightly after this.

for B2ST, it's mostly because I promised a friend to give as detailed an account of them as I could, even though I don't know half their names! so in a sense I was forced to pay more attention to them. and I think the atmosphere when they performed Shock was excellent!

and I was quite impressed by Miss A's live singing. plus they've got Chinese members, so that's a plus point for me, haha.

I think for me to start liking a band, they either need to be really good-looking (yes, I'm that shallow), have songs that I really like, or attract me with their personality on tv shows. I read a neutral fan account that said that their performances lack personality, which I think is somewhat true - and that's why I rely on variety shows to appreciate their personality.
