He roughly shook the hand off his shoulder and just stood there staring as they filled the dirt in over the coffin. He knew the others were leaving but he couldn't. Walking away would mean it was real. It would mean that it was over and he was really gone.
Keeping his eyes down, he saw the shoes stop beside him and stiffened. "Sugar, you know he..."
"Just don't Rogue. Don't say anything. It won't change a thing."
John knelt beside the stone when she left, his finger tracing the letters as tears fell. "Goodbye Bobby."
