They watched the blazing branch fall, frosting over seconds before it hit the ground. They were alone out there, both of them free to play with their powers.
John and Bobby smirked at each other from across the clearing. John flicked the lighter, forming the flames into an actual fire dragon and directing it towards Bobby. The other boy laughed a little, moisture in the air pulling together into an ice-glass St. George, complete with lance. The ice sculpture couldn't move but the dragon advanced and impaled itself on the lance, both fire and ice figure melting into each other.
