Ahiru's Story: Part 1/?

Feb 02, 2007 21:44

It seems like there’s a lot of different sorts of people here in Paixao…and not everything works in their worlds the same that it does in my world. This doesn’t totally surprise me-there were a lot of things in my town that were different from the rest of my world until recently. But it seems like some people are sort of confused about some things ( Read more... )

Wait a minute. If this Dross guy was still alive, why didn't he finish the story? And shouldn't the prince be dead by taking out his... ugh, heart?

Oh, Drosselmeyer was really dead...he was just writing the story...from the grave. I'll go into this in more detail later in the story, but the short answer is he set up a machine that was writing the story for him even after he was dead. His power to make stories real might have some how sustained his soul in the story, too--he's a bit of a mystery to me (even though I technically should understand him more than anyone else...).

As for the Prince...yes, you're right. He SHOULD be dead. I met him long after his heart was taken out, so I don't know how the spell works, but I believe the magic spell was sustaining him...as well as Drosselmeyer's story.

It's important to note that, at this point in the story, Drosselmeyer had a god-like control over the town because of the story. I've never completely understood how he could control everything...just that machine, and his powers.

Machine? Is that technology too? If so, do you know where he keeps this 'machine' of his?

...That's ruining the end of the story.

It was in the clock tower in town...

Is this a true story? But... I'm a bit confused, is Ahiru a duck or a girl?

Either way, I'm still really sorry I said she was your pet...

It probably doesn't sound believable, but yes...it's all true. Well, there's maybe a little artistic license.

Ahiru is really a duck that...for a time...could turn into a girl. (Don't worry, it even confused her.)

Bah. Don't worry. I'm sorry for snapping at you.

Story's finished. All acted out?

This is only the first part of the story...but yes, this has all already happened, and the story has ended. My story was supposed to be finished now, too...but...I guess whoever (or whatever) brought me here has different plans.

Meddling with the boundaries of dimensions, they tampered with time and space to gather an assortment of peoples and creatures. The probability of it happening at random is almost zero. This was planned.

Of course it was planned...it was always planned. My entire life has been one big stage play, and now that I'm finally free, I'm dragged into another story with another unseen puppet-master...

Hmph. Sorry. Not mad with you. Just whoever dragged us into this.

The Prince kept his human form even though he had no heart?

Yes, that's right. I think it was part of the spell, but I'm not sure.

And how exactly did the prince change after losing it?

He had no emotions, and didn't understand the concept. He could be easilly ordered to do something, and if told he felt a certain way, he would believe it. The only impulse he really had on his own was he always had a reaction to save something, no matter what the danger to himself. I once watched him run into a burning building to save a bird trapped in a cage.
