It's great to see more of this story and to see Jack and Daniel discussing a potential future with Ellie.

I think I need to go back and re-read the whole thing for a refresher course, but this was a great addition.

Yeah, there's a big shake up coming in the next part for Ellie - but in a good way. I'd forgotten how much I like writing in this 'verse ^.^

Yes- I fired my fluffy, laxidasical muse and hired a whip-toting, leather-wearing, Dom muse instead (should I tell you my muse looks like a debauched John Sheppard? - I'm sensing a new C!T like toy to play with hehehe).

Just lookie how busy I've been! (and I'm almost done with updates to "The Right Thing To Do, Are We?, and sorting out the mess that is HITMA(n). Which, btw, is so screwed from that virus I can't recover it so I'm still trying to sort out paper notes and whatnot to recreate the end. UGH.)

Anywho- I was torn between leaving Billy a whooblie mess or letting him refind his cajones. I went with the latter. He's still got a ton to get through himself, and I've got some meltdowns planned, but I liked that little glimmer of his old self shining through.

The next section is going to be very busy and very revealing about Ellie. I really love writing in this 'verse ^.^

Please sir, can I have some more? Seriously though, good job. I like how you've managed to create a new universe but still keep the characterizations true, especially Daniel's. With having him be a slave, it would be too easy for an author to completely subvert his personality and not illustrate the growth that he went through. On another note, any chance of getting some more of "She's finally safe and sound"?

I'm glad you enjoyed it! It's such an interesting 'verse for me to play with. I just have a hard time writing this one in a linear fashion- I've got all sorts of future bits/chunks written but I just have to get there from here lol.

I've been working strictly on updates and/or finishing fics this past week. I'm on a roll! I should have updates for the following in the next few days:
