yeah - Ziva has a lot of interesting sides. I think they explored that in S5's Recoil. And it's one of the reasons why I liked the episode so much. She a little broken in her own way and that makes her perfect ^_^

She can be *such* a wiseass - which is one reason I think she fits well with Gibbs. Because sometimes it's so understated with both of them you almost miss it. ^_^

I have honestly said something similar, as a teenager i saved for months for this one pair of shoes they were purple heals and super cute,i saved my $10 pocket money for what felt like forever until i finally went and brought these $140 pair of heals they are still one of my favorite pairs of shoes and i still never regret them they are still my most expensive pair of shoes, every time i wear them, i pay for the saw feet the next day, but god do they look sexy. no my line about shoes really goes something like this "you wear them everyday they are an expression of your personality, so they have to be hand picked and uniquely special" i also say the same for watches, earrings, handbags and multiple other things!

Good story, i think the whole team forgets that inside Ziva is not just an NCIS agent but a woman with wants and needs like the rest of us. good capture of her freezing outside the shoe store, Fantastic story!
