I'm glad you're enjoying it so far. This particular fic is one of my personal favorites of mine. I got a little derailed with this it but I'm in the middle of a new update for it. :)

I've never cared for crossovers, as most writers butcher characterization while trying to force a blending between two seemingly unconnected story lines and casts. I'm new to NCIS (season 1 and a little of 2 so far) and its fandom so my knowledge of the characters isn't fully developed (nor are they fully realized even in canon that early in a series) but I'm an eight-year veteran of the SG-1 universe and I'm impressed with how true you've kept these characters other than the obvious AU and subtextual factors. I like where you're going with the plot as well. I love seeing Jack with kids and I'm looking forward to seeing how Sam and Tony hit it off once she discovers his hound-dog tendencies. I don't feel, at all, that you've forced one group of characters into the world of the other -- rather, that they could easily have co-existed in the same universe if we squint at the timeline. Can't wait for more.

And it's really nice to hear that you feel they are in character! It's something I work very hard at in my fic and it's nice to know it's working!

I love your story. I hope you continue it. Your characters are wonderful, I adore Daniel's helping Jackie in her dreams.
“Daddy said you would come." It's just so cute, although it will be interesting to see how her knowing his name is explained.
