Still very much enjoying the progression of Joey and Carmine's relationship.

I'm really impressed with Carmine's will and maturity. Steven Caldwell does it for me, even or maybe especially when he is being a jerk. I don't know if I could let someone I was involved with be alone with him, which would make me the jerk. Darn.

I think the reason Carmine can let Joey be alone with Steven is that he is completely secure in his relationship with Joey. There is no doubt or hesitancy. He also knows that Steven's concern for Joey is borne out of genuine love and not simply possessiveness.

Wow. The messages to Steven broke my heart. I'm sitting here with tears welling up and a hurty pain in my chest. The love he and Joey share, despite knowing they aren't really right for each other, makes me so sad that they couldn't work it out. I hate that he is alone. *sniffs loudly*
