Beautiful, poignant, sad, lovely sex scene - Loved it! Thanks soo much for this story. So touching, a really really nice read!

"Yes, we did," John replied before he reached over and trailed his fingers down Jack's jaw. He leaned in and kissed Jack softly.

When John broke the kiss, it was his turn to pull Jack into a tight embrace and his voice was thick with emotion as whispered near Jack's ear, "Never wear your dog tags when you go out, and no last names- not ever. Just be careful.".....aawwwwwww, ssoooooo good!

Wow! I've read a few Jack/John fics, but they've all had Jack taking advantage of John and being a total creeper! LOL I didn't know I was craving a sweet, loving John/Jack fic until I read this. I totally want them to be together now. John stealing a Puddlejumper and mounting an unauthorized rescue of Jack in The Return looks a lot more interesting now!

I know what you mean- most of them that I've read have heavy Jack/Daniel or Sheppard/Mckay undertones. I really wanted to write something that was just for Jack and John alone. :D Glad you enjoyed it!!

Finally got a chance to read this one and awwwwww....

Loved it. Love the little tip Jack gave him 15 years before the repeating of it in the present. And I'm sad for both of them... but they will see each other again. *nods*

Jack/John is a rarely written pairing that seriously needs more love! The intimacy of this fic and the bittersweet tone overall was wonderful. It mad me sad that they had to part again, but at least i know they'll see each other again. Now i want more of this!!
