Artwork for my next SGA fic

So I've been picking at a weird AU SGA fic (lol is there really any other kind?) and I had forgotten that I had started some cover art for it months ago.

I really like it and for some damn reason I'm interested in that AU now (I don't typically read het anymore).

Anyway... You've done a really nice job with the cover. I especially like the borders of the photos/panels. The only thing that I'd do a tad differently would be on the top picture of Kate and John. You can see the blurring of the edges of both of them too clearly (at least to me) and to fix that I'd either change the opacity on their individual pictures or I'd blend the layer properties so that the edges aren't so apparent. (if that makes sense)

Yeah, that's the part that's bugging me too. :| I think I'm going to rip that section apart and see if I can make that better some how. Maybe start with fresh copies of the two pics and go from there. I'm thinking, too, that the dark Atlantis in the middle might need to change to a lighter image to make it easier to blend.

It's a hinky fic, and a pairing I'm sort of intrigued by. I've got about 9k words done on it, and the remaining 1/3 of it sketched out so I will hopefully be posting soon.

I'd personally leave the dark Atlantis but with the new copies of Kate and John I'd tweak them and blow them out a bit then blend them with the darker Atlantis image. Perhaps use light textures on Kate and John then copy them onto Atlantis.
