...Why does it end there?! There's an unread note and Gabriel's still pulling himself together and unf, surely there's going to be more sexing after both those displays?

Ha, guess that means you enjoyed the fic - glad to hear it!

the answer is because I ran out of time, lol Season five's like that, isn't it? A lot of loose ends :P but there may be a follow-up somewhere down the line if the DCBB doesn't kill me first!

Oh my this is a lovely fic. I really liked how Gabriel changed throughout the fic as he got more and more of his grace back, getting more cocky and playful. I did feel a bit sorry for Sam, getting dragged along after Gabriel and being a little worse for wear, but I think Sam's always been a step or two behind in relation to Gabriel's, uh, interest in him.

I certainly second the call for more, but I do agree with your comment above - this fic has a prefect season five feeling too it, so full of new mythos and roads not taken.

Thank you - so glad you enjoyed it! I'm particularly tickled you noticed/liked Gabe's personality shifts, because that and the mythology aspects were the most fun parts to write.

Consider a follow-up officially added to the list *g*
