I really enjoyed this fic. Like a looooot.
Um, yup. Pretty much don't have much to say after that, and there wasn't even any HARDCORE!p0rn.

Very lovely job hunny! <3

Thank you! And yeah, I was a little worried because it wasn't graphic, but I was in a very poetic mood and I think it came through nicely. ;-)

Innnnnteresting...

"Blood of my blood, flesh of my flesh."

Faintly, Dean could feel the sticky heat of fingers painting bloodied prayers into his skin, but it was the words that struck like chimes inside his ears, forceful, though they were kissed and bled into him by trembling, straining lips.

I especially enjoyed this part. Very powerful, beautiful phrasing.

This was really... weird? But in a good way! :D I liked it very, very much, how everything was kind of glossed-over and not spoonfed to the reader, kind of left up to interpretation in a way. Awesome job! \o/

Thank you! Some version of that bloodied prayers line has been in this fic from its birth through many rewrites, so I'm glad you liked it, it's one of my faves too. And hey, ya know, I'm a strange individual and enjoy writing that gives leeway to the reader, I'm glad that came through. :)

Wow. You really have a way with words that's equal parts powerful and chilling. So many people thought Cas had been about to make Dean drink his blood in that scene, but this is the first fic I've read exploring that, and I think you captured exactly how glorious and horrific and holy and dark that should be. Damn. This is one hell of a piece of writing.

Thank you very much! I thought for sure that there would be tons of fics that explored exactly this topic, but I don't read Dastiel much myself so I'm glad to hear this was a fresh take for you. Your remark on the glorious/horrific/holy/dark nature of this situation is a beautiful way of expressing just what I was trying to do here. Thank you!

You know I have sort of decided not to read any Dean/Castiel as they didn't really seem like my thing. For you I made an exemption and I am not sorry I did. :)

I would quote some but I just can't bring myself up to destroy the fluency of this piece. It is beautiful and tragic and blood!play always manages to push some of my deeper buttons.

Thank you for writing and sharing!

Wow! Thank you for taking a chance on me! I don't actually read Dastiel myself either, so this kind of came out of nowhere. I'm glad the piece worked for you, though. Also? *hugs for your readerly loyalty!*

Woa, that's pretty cool! I can't deny I was hoping for soemthing like that for the show at that point, but obviously it didn't happen...so thanks for this! It was creepy and weirdly hot though, I like the mood of the story, even if it's short, it's very atmospheric.
Is this your first Dean/Castiel btw? WOW :)

Dude, me too. Hence, my brain taking me to completely unexpected places, namely, yes, my first Dean/Castiel (which I, honestly, never thought would happen)! I'm glad you enjoyed the atmospheric feel of the piece. That was definitely what I was aiming for! :)
